Easton Neighbourhood Plan
The Easton Neighbourhood plan includes the entire parish of Easton. An Easton Neighbourhood Plan (ENP) Steering Group was established in 2015 to bring together the views, demands and needs of residents. In doing so the Steering Group engaged with the wider community and held several community consultation events. To ensure inclusivity, the Steering Group also wrote to key stakeholders and set up a website www.eastonmatters.org.uk . The Community Vision and Objectives were drafted and shared at consultation events with emerging policies being discussed, tested and revised in January 2016. The plan underwent an independent examination in 2017 and was adopted later that same year.
The Vision for the Easton Neighbourhood Plan is:
To allow Easton to develop gradually and grow in a way that retains its natural beauty and character of a rural village to improve the quality of life for all generations’.
Objective 4 of the Easton Neighbourhood Plan is:
